For the IBCM you have to be playing White. you start with the less common Reti opening (Nf3). Remember this only works around 400-730 Elo. then in order for this to work, black needs to play d4, then you need to gambit, or give away, your e pawn, which looks like this.
For the next few moves, black takes the pawn, the white knight moves to g5, and the black knight moves to f6 to protect their pawn. Which looks like this…
The next few moves are white pawn to d4, black captures the d3 pawn, white’s light square bishop takes on d3 and black pawn to h6.
What do you do next? Do run your knight? Do you resign? NO!! You play the move that seems like the last option you have.
